V&A Jazz Geometric Design Grey Wool Rug
Hand Tufted Rugs
Bedroom, Living room
The term Art Deco takes its name from the Exposition Internationale des Art Decoratifs et Industriels Moderns, held in Paris in 1925, and conjures up ocean liners, cocktail bars and skyscrapers.
Drawing inspiration from the V&As world-renowned textile collection, Jazz is based on F. Gregory Browns furnishing fabric for William Foxton, which won a gold medal at the Paris Exhibition.
Made in India by artisan craftsmen, this rich wool and silky viscose rug is skilfully hand-tufted and finished by hand.
The mixed-height pile and silvery sheen of the yarn cleverly accentuate the striking design.
